Deaf-led. ASL-first. Media, education, history, and community access.
Deafinity Media is a Deaf-led nonprofit organization based in Utah with a national vision. We create American Sign Language (ASL)-first media, training, storytelling, and educational resources for Deaf children, families, youth, elders, schools, and communities.
Our work supports Deaf people through visual media, education, workforce development, Deaf history preservation, advocacy, and community access.
Our Mission
Deafinity Media’s mission is to support and empower Deaf individuals through visual media, education, training, employment pathways, advocacy, and Deaf-led community development.
We believe Deaf people should not be last to receive information, opportunity, or access. Deaf children, families, elders, and communities deserve resources that are clear, visual, culturally respectful, and ASL-first.
What We Do
Deaf Youth & Families
We create ASL-first educational media and support resources for Deaf children, hearing parents, families, and schools.
Deaf Workforce & Media Training
We provide training and hands-on experience in media production, visual storytelling, digital skills, and job readiness.
Deaf History & Heritage
We preserve Deaf elders’ memories, Deaf school history, ASL cultural materials, photographs, documents, archival video, and community stories before they are lost.
Deaf older people & Community Access
We support Deaf older people through storytelling, ASL-accessible information, advocacy, and stronger community connection.
Utah Home Base, National Vision
Deafinity Media is based in Utah, but our work is built for wider impact. The need for Deaf-led, ASL-first resources exists across the United States.
With deep experience in film, television, media production, Deaf culture, and community storytelling, Deafinity Media is prepared to develop projects that can serve Utah communities and expand nationally through schools, partners, funders, businesses, museums, archives, and Deaf community organizations.
Why This Matters
Many Deaf children grow up without enough ASL-first resources. Many hearing parents want to support their Deaf children but do not always know where to begin. Many Deaf youth need positive Deaf role models. Many Deaf adults face barriers to employment because training and workplaces are not fully accessible. Many Deaf elders carry important memories that have never been recorded.
Deafinity Media exists to change that.
Our Vision
A future where Deaf people have full access to education, employment, history, media, and community life through American Sign Language, Deaf culture, and visual storytelling.
Made by Deaf people. Made for Deaf people. Shared with the world.
